Sardinia – your beauty programme

Want to get back in shape? Sardinia is just the right place for you.

In the spa of Resort Valle dell’Erica at Santa Teresa di Gallura the wellness routes (see) are accompanied by diet plans prepared in cooperation with Dr Dukan’s team.

The Colonna Resort at Porto Cervo offers gommage treatments for toning the skin and getting rid of the ‘orange peel’ effect. The Forte Village at Santa Margherita di Pula has a range of ultra-modern face and body treatment techniques, including radiofrequency, oxygen-therapy and micro-dermabrasion.

Chia Laguna Resort uses top-quality products to oxygenate your skin in depth. And if you are looking to get rid of a few excess pounds, Arbatax Park Resort offers T-Shock 31, a treatment based on a mix of no less than 31 herbs and medicinal plants. At the Pullman Timi Ama in Villasimius, you can try the toning programme “Slim & Slender” which lasts six days and includes 24 treatments. Sighientu at Quartu Sant’Elena has toxin-removal routes and a range of targeted treatments for beauty, form and relaxation.

Stroke your skin
Hotel La Bitta at Arbatax proposes the body-face treatment “Sea Holistic”, a mix of peeling and hydration based on lavender and sea crystals.  Hotel Torreruja at Isola Rossa offers a multi-sensory treatment which also stimulates your sight and sense of smell, the Spa-Jet

With the “shirodara” at the Hotel Riviera’s spa the treatment with balsamic oils starts from the head, to stimulate the pituitary gland and boost mood.
A wide choice of draining and relaxing mud packs and massages is offered at Hotel Le Torri in Arborea and at Hotel spa Sardegna (discover the full range of massages available in Sardinia).

Beauty rituals
True anti-oxidant “beauty rituals” combating stress and fatigue at Ea Bianca of Baja Sardinia, while heavy legs and dull complexion are tackled by lymphatic drainage stimulation at Alghero Resort Country Hotel. Expectant and new mothers will find dedicated beauty routes at Cagliari’s THotel.

The secret of beauty treatments in Sardinia are the island’s own natural elements such as sand and seawater: try one of the many thalasso treatments available or the sand packs at the spa of Le Dune in Badesi. Once you have completed the treatment cycle, think of beauty – rely on professional advice such as that offered by beauty farm Sa Muvara in Aritzo.

Classic beauty treatments like pedicures, manicures and massages are available at the Double Tree or the Pellicano d’Oro Beach Hotel (see), both in Olbia, and at the Golf Hotel Is Arenas in Narbolia. A wide range of face and body treatments are offered by Hotel Villa del Golfo in Arzachena. If you are looking for curative treatments, Sardinia offers a wide range of thermal baths, open year round.

Fitness
At Hotel Parco Torre Chia you can plan your own personal spa route combined with physical activity in the gym; at the spa of Villa Las Tronas at Alghero you can book a personal trainer for an individualised programme, while at the Due Lune of San Teodoro the “Ice & Fire” treatment is divided into three phases: aerobics, body evolution and cosmetic massage.
