This small port is located just 20 minutes away from the city of Olbia, in front of Tavolara Island; the area around the port is worth a visit because of the picturesque Capo Figari and beautiful beaches. Together with the port and airport of Olbia, Golfo Aranci is one of the entrance gates to the northeast of Sardinia.

The port is located in the town of Porto Torres. It may happen that the moorings are moved to the industrial pier (Pier ASI) located, about 1.5 km west of the port. Porto Torres and Alghero airport are the entrance doors to the northwest of Sardinia.
