The Monte Fico beaches stretch out to the south west of the Island of Caprera, in the commune of La Maddalena, and develop along the wavy coasts of Monte Fico, alternating short beaches with pink rocks framed by dense Mediterranean shrub. The shining sea is studded with pink rocks that poke out every now and then from the surface. The beaches, apart from their wild scenery, offer wonderful glimpses of panoramas, like the landscape of the forelying Isola Rossa and the Sardinian coastline. Its seabed is an anthology of wonders and hence an ideal destination for scuba-divers.
