The beach of Pinus Village is one of the most evocative of the coast of Santa Margherita. Set in a beautiful little bay, it is crowned by thick Mediterranean bush with, at the far edges, two rocky spurs that softly descend toward the sea. On the hill behind is the Pinus residential complex, equipped with five-a-side football pitches, basketball and tennis courts, and a large public swimming pool. The small beach is cloaked in candid, grainy sand that stretches for some hundred meters brushing up against the bluffs at the side. The water, crystalline and of an intriguing green colour, creates fascinating contrasts of light and is a continuous invitation for dips and dives.
